Paratypes: (15) MCZ 52649 (1); SIO 55-258 (3, missing), 55-265 (1), 63-997 (3, now 1), 72-177 (1), 72-182 (1). •Valid as Scopelosaurus hubbsi Bertelsen, Krefft & Marshall 1976 -- (Pequeño 1989:34 [ref. 14125], Castellanos-Galindo et al. 2006:253 [ref. 28944]). Current status: Valid as Scopelosaurus hubbsi Bertelsen, Krefft & Marshall 1976. Notosudidae. Distribution: Southeastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.
